Hello Dear Blog Friends!
Just a note to let you know, I am celebrating 9 years today!
The biggest help for me was support from anywhere I could find it!
Mr. UT has been my main support!

We are both 70 now, 😱😂, and recently had our 47th wedding anniversary! We were high school sweethearts, so we’ve been together for 52 years!

My knee is still getting stronger! I can lift weights, and go to yoga. Still have to wait to golf and bike outside. Grrrr!

Otherwise, nothing too exciting, and that’s ok! At our age, we are learning to enjoy the normal days, because we are running out of time! 😂😂😂☕️☕️☕️

  1. Congratulations on # 9 Wendy!! And Happy 47th anniversary!! So much to be grateful for and to celebrate….. I’m on year 6 and feel blessed every day to be sober. Love your pics- I had my wedding in the backyard, too! I wore a Gunne Sax dress which looks a little like what you’re wearing. Oh, I remember those early 70’s with a warm heart– we were a bit crazy and rebellious but it was all about peace and love and fighting against the war. Thanks for bringing me down memory lane!! Congrats to Mr. UT as well- you are a precious and dear couple.❤️

  5. Congratulations to 9 years Wendy! You are such an inspiration to many and we all thank you for sharing your story! I remember your getting sober story but re-read it again. I’m doing awesome with my alcohol journey and it can never hurt for a “stay on course” reminder. 💯% Have a great day!!
